2019 has not been kind to famous cats on the Internet. Earlier this year we lost Grumpy cat, and now we have learned that Lil Bub passed away unexpectedly yesterday, December 1st, 2019 at the age of 8.
Lil Bub was a polydactyl cat born with quite a few genetic abnormalities including feline dwarfism, osteoporosis, and a disease that left her permanently a kitten. Besides being adorable, Bub published a book, hosted a web series, and recorded music with the likes of Andrew W.K., Run the Jewels, and Surfer Blood. She also raised over $700,00 dollars for homeless and special needs cats.
People have taken to Twitter to mourn the death of one of the best internet-famous cats ever.
